It was a gorgeous but windy day in November at the beautiful Bayfront Club in Edgemere, MD. The burgundy and steel blue color palette really popped against the serene bay backdrop. I added in some natural elements to give the design a rustic feel with thistle, pampas grass, and even deer antlers. It blended nicely with the softer more romantic tones of the burgundy heart roses, peach stock and blush roses. I added charms to the handle of her bouquet to honor her loved ones that could not be there with her - so sweet! Photo credits go to John Soule. Some pics are mine or have been edited by me. I am pretty sure you'll tell the difference ;)
You can't tell in this picture because it looks so peaceful + calm but the wind was whipping! I triple tied the design to the arch for extra support. I decided to add the steel blue drapes on the inside of the archway so they would flow elegantly away from the candles below.
I added deer antlers to the design to honor the hobbies of the Groom and the Bride's Father. The welcome sign was tied to the tree for extra support and ended up being a cute back ground element.
The deer antlers were provided by the Groom and look so elegant with the burgundy spray rose and thistle design. The wood slab and 3-tiered candles added the finishing touch to the centerpieces.
The sweetheart table design was my absolute favorite! I love all the romantic candles and the greenery mixed in. We repurposed the Bride's bouquet as part of the floor design and I made a cute little arrangement to add more color and textures.
