Vintage Burgundy + Blush Wedding at Morningside Inn

24 Feb

It was a surprisingly gorgeous day in late February for this wedding at the stunning Morningside Inn, Frederick, MD. My dear friend's daughter was getting married and I was thrilled when she asked me to do the wedding flowers. The wedding was filled with burgundy, blush and white florals that contrasted beautifully against the neutral backdrop of the venue. This venue gave me vintage vibes so I added in subtle touches of old with doilies, milk glass, vintage bud vases, and cotton picks for the boutonnieres. I just love how it all came together.

I am in love with how these cotton boutonnieres came out against the tweed vests!

The centerpieces were a high and low effect with vintage bud vases on some tables and then tall greenery arrangements on the other half. Each having doilies and mercury gold candles to complement the vintage design.

For the ceremony I added a floral design above the large window with greenery cascading across the top and down the sides. I don't have a picture of it but there were greens hanging on chairs down the aisle attached with white ribbon. So pretty!
